Why Join a Life Group?
At Green Ridge, we believe spiritual growth is important. For that reason, we challenge every person to do life together with other believers in a Life Group. A Life Group is an environment of biblical community where people can feel welcome and accepted, encounter Christ and His Word, and make disciples. Our groups spend time in God’s Word through sermon-based discussion on a bi-weekly basis.
Our hope is that Green Ridge Baptist Church would be a community of believers engaged in Christ-centered relationships resembling the early Church (Acts 2:42). That’s why we believe it’s important for all our members to be in a Life Group! Active participation in a Life Group is critical for your spiritual health as you grow in your understanding and application of God’s direction in your life.
What does a Life Group look like?
A Life Group usually consists of six to 12 Green Ridge members who meet on a regular basis in someone’s home to study and discuss the Bible, pray for one another, care for one another, and do ministry together.
