grbcYOUTH students (grades 6 through 12) are invited to join us for a day of fun and excitement at Kings Dominion. Cost is $75 / student (includes Park Ticket, Dinning Pass, and Transportation). Students must also have personal money to purchase extras. ***Sign up by Monday, Aug 4*** Each student must have a medical release / permission form on file to attend. When & Where? Meet at GRBC and Load Bus - 7:00a Pray and Depart for Carowinds - 7:04a Arrive at park - 10:20a Lunch and Dinner in park Load Bus and depart for GRBC - 7:00p Arrive at GRBC for parent pick up - 11:00p *will message parents with updates to pick up time. What will I eat? We are taking advantages Premium All Day Dining Pass valid for an entrée and side, or a snack, as often as every 90 minutes during your visit PLUS refreshing Coca-Cola beverages all day long as often as every 15 minutes. What should I bring? - Sunscreen - Sunglasses or Hat - Cooling Towel - Comfortable shoes for walking on hard surfaces - Comfortable, loose fitting clothes for HOT weather ***Please consider Christian modesty avoid small & tight clothes exposing and/or accentuating the body. How can I Stay Cool? The heat can’t stop the fun at Carowinds. Students can stay cool during their visit with the following helpful tips and tricks: COMPLIMENTARY WATER: Stay hydrated with complimentary water, available at all open dining locations in the park. Guests are also welcome to bring refillable water bottles. There are bottle filling stations at many locations throughout the park COOLING TOWELS: Bring or purchase a cooling towel at one of the many retail shops inside Carowinds. INDOOR FUN: Take a break and cool off with Carowinds' indoor attractions: - The air-conditioned Carowinds Theater features Brad Ross: International Star Illusionist this summer. - Grab a bite to eat in one of the dining locations with a large air-conditioned dining room like Chickie's and Pete's, Blue Ridge Country Kitchen, Leonardo's Hometown Italian Food or Harmony Hall. MISTING FANS: Guests can cool off under large misting fans located in the queue lines of most rides in the park. OUTSIDE ITEMS: Students may bring certain items into the park, such as cooling towels and personal fans, to help them cool off. Students may bring bags into the park; all bags are subject to search prior to entry.
